On November 28, 2007 Buffalo audiences were treated to a special production of "silent language" performances from world renowned artists Sergio Neglia and Yass Hakoshima. Ballet artist, Sergio Neglia started the evening by dancing pieces from L'Apres-Midi d'une Faun and Petroushka. In between these dances, Salvatore Andolina from the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra treated the audience to a Western musical interlude on the clarinet. After the intermission, Sergio Neglia joined master mime artist, Yass Hakoshima for a special performance of Hakoshima's Insane Shogun. Hakoshima also delighted the audience with various other pieces including Gyofu (fisherman) and Ninyo (puppet). In between Hakoshima's fascinating interpretations, Kaoru Oyama entertained the audience to an Eastern musical interlude on the koto.
